minus sign is too short in ProFont, good in Sheldon |

Since the minus sign character '-' is intended to be used as a dash (hyphen) in most fonts used for normal English text and, therefore, it is often too short for programming use. It looks ridiculous in expression, especially next to + signs. I was surprised to see that Pro Font's minus was so short while Sheldon's looks good. The crossbar of the minus sign should be the same width as + and at the same vertical position and weight as the plus's crossbar.

Which version of ProFont are you talking about?
Mac or Windows, Bitmap or TrueType…
Looks fine here on MacOS, ProFont bitmap version:

Tobias, I\'m sorry, I was going by the sample at http: slash slash www.lowing.org slash fonts slash which is a nice survey of programmer\'s fonts. However, I just tried the \"tweaked\" TTF version for Windows off your website and it has the same problem. I can email you a screen capture, if you are interested.
